Learn how to remove stains from the cutting boards with the use of hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and dish washing detergent. There are two easy ways to remove stains from cutting boards:

  1. Hydrogen peroxide soak
  2. Baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and dish detergent paste.

    HYDROGEN PEROXIDE 

    Bleach away cutting board stains if given enough dwell time. First Lay the cutting board in a sink. Spray or pour hydrogen peroxide over the cutting board until it is wet. Allow the hydrogen peroxide to soak for several hours or overnight. Wash the cutting board with detergent and water, allow drying.

    BAKING SODA, HYDROGEN PEROXIDE, AND DETERGENT 

    Hydrogen peroxide can be used to remove plastic cutting board stains safely, without damage.But remember, Cleaning with bleach can damage your health and corrode surfaces.

    HOW TO SANITIZE PLASTIC CUTTING BOARDS NATURALLY

    Run the cutting board through the dishwasher on the hottest setting. The heating element in the dishwasher heats the water above the temperature your skin can tolerate, do this to kill more bacteria.
    Wash the cutting board with soap and water then wipe or spray the cutting board with white vinegar. Next wipe or spray the cutting board with hydrogen peroxide. Rinse clean.
