TERMS OF SERVICE
By Booking a house cleaning appointment and or domestic work with Krystal Clear Cleaning Referral Agency I (the customer) agree to the following terms of service.
✔️ I agree to allow Krystal Clear Cleaning Referral Agency to authorize and charge my credit card.
✔️ I agree to do an inspection before the house cleaner leaves.
✔️ I agree to call Krystal Clear Cleaning Referral Agency within 24 hours if i have any problems with the service.
If (the customer) does not do a walk through with the domestic worker(s) and is not satisfied with the cleaning, and if the complaint is made more than 24 hours after the service, Krystal Clear Cleaning Referral Agency referred domestic worker is not accountable for the cleaning outcome. If the referred house cleaners demonstrate focus and work hard the entire time they are working, you (the customer) are still responsible for payment whether or not you are satisfied with the cleaning outcome.
I have read the following statement.
Krystal Clear Cleaning Referral Agency is not the employer of the domestic worker referred to you. The domestic worker may be your employee or an independent contractor depending on the relationship you have with him or her. If you direct and control the manner and means by which the domestic worker performs his or her work you may have employer responsibilities, including employment taxes and workers’ compensation.
A labor hour is defined as one hour of labor performed by one cleaning professional.
Example: 4 LABOR HOURS. If the fee is $35 per labor hour, and a team of 2 completes the job in two hours, that would be $140 total. The same is if a single cleaner completes the job in 4 hours, the fee is still $140. In both examples, 4 labor hours were expended. Having 2 cleaners or 1 cleaner DOES NOT affect the final price, only the time occupying your home.
There is a 3 labor hour minimum for any job, except a 2 hour minimum for weekly/biweekly service. Billable time may include loading and unloading supplies & equipment from a vehicle. If you have any questions regarding labor hours or billing procedures please call the office prior to your scheduled cleaning.
Time limit for your cleaning*
A time limit is defined as the maximum amount of time pre-approved for cleaners to work, stated in labor hours (see above.) Because we quote one-time jobs sight unseen your job could take more than the estimated maximum approved time budgeted for your job.
Please note that cleaners will not go over your time limit without your approval, so keep your phone on you! If we try to call for an extension, due to condition or other circumstances and are unable to reach you the cleaners will have to stop at the max budgeted time, even if the job is not finished in order to respect your price limit.
For flat fee jobs, if the condition of the home requires more extensive cleaning than what average cleaning standards require, your cleaner may propose a new flat fee or convert your job to an hourly rate in order to perform the service without exceeding your approved rate.
If you request less time than the recommended estimate
The estimates we provide are based on average industry times for your sq ft or rooms. If you opt for less cleaning time than what we recommend, by booking hourly service instead of the flat fee, the cleaners may not be able to get to everything. They will work off your list of priorities and get as far down the list as possible.
48 Hour Cancellation/Reschedule*
Cancellations require 48 hours advance notice to avoid a $50 cancellation fee. Please consider how late cancellations may negatively impact the cleaning professionals earning potential for the day. Without enough notice, it’s difficult for us to find replacement cleanings.
Accessibility & Lock Out*
Please ensure cleaners have full access to the premises on the day of your scheduled cleaning (this includes access to running water and electricity, being able to complete the job without interruption from other service providers in the home, and beloved pets are not in the way of the cleaning, etc).
In the event they arrive for your scheduled cleaning and find themselves unable to access the home or unable to clean, there will be a $50 fee for the time and travel. The cleaning time begins once cleaners arrive. Any wait time will be included in the billable time. The arrival time is a window of time, given to you at the time of booking.
For one time cleanings, we recommend that you meet the cleaners in the home at the end of the cleaning to do a final walk through. In this walk through, you can make sure that everything has been completed to your liking, and if additional time is needed then you can give that permission at that time.
If you can not do a final walk through, cleaners may not have the opportunity to adjust or correct items of concern in a timely manner which is not ideal for time-sensitive cleanings (cleaning before a party, cleaning before a landlord’s final walk thru, etc).
For hourly service, job fees are calculated based on cleaning time expended; therefore we have a no refund policy. If you find that more cleaning is needed, we can easily schedule more cleaning time.
Please note that if you are not satisfied with your cleaning, the first step is to request a revisit with your cleaning professional to allow them the opportunity to learn and address your concerns. Cleaning professionals take much pride in their work and customer satisfaction.
Discounts cannot be combined. Exclude hourly and extras. Some discounts have certain conditions such as : “$80Recurring” , which applies to a whole home flat rate cleaning that selects weekly, biweekly or monthly recurring cleaning schedule. We have no contracts but for this discount code we do require 3 recurring cleaning appointments. If you cancel before 3 recurring cleanings there will be a $45 dollar fee. Please cancel with more than 48 hour notice to avoid a $50 late cancellation fee as well. If your unsure if you want recurring, just accept the one time discount of $35 off your First Cleaning to avoid any issues later on cancelling before 3 recurring cleaning visits.
Payment is due at the time services are rendered.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Credit cards on file will be charged by our office. You will receive an invoice the business day after your cleaning via email.
Cleaning Professionals are not employees of Krystal Clear Cleaning Referral Agency. Agency is not responsible for property damages.
Independent Cleaning Professionals
Krystal Clear Cleaning Referral Agency is not the employer of the domestic worker it referred to you. The domestic worker may be your employee or an independent contractor depending on the relationship you have with him or her. If you direct and control the manner and means by which the domestic worker performs his or her work you may have employer responsibilities, including employment taxes and worker’s compensation, under state and federal law. For additional information contact your local Employment Development and the Internal Revenue Service.
Permanent Domestic Referral Placement
A client can hire an independent cleaner for permanent domestic referral placement and work directly with the cleaner, without going through Krystal Clear Cleaning Referral Agency. If you wish to do so, we can send additional information. There is a $1000 fee for the services of securing a domestic helper/employee. Soliciting a cleaner for private placement will result in a placement fee.
Krystal Clear Cleaning Referral Agency does not accept possession of your house key and will not be able to track it or retrieve it from your cleaning professional. We can relay any instructions on the method of entry. If you have a lock box on site, please provide the code for your client file notes.
Uncontrollable natural events
Please keep in mind that residential cleaning has some unpredictable circumstances such as vehicle accidents on the road or health emergencies with the cleaning individual that may lead to last-minute rescheduling in rare instances. It may be best to schedule your cleanings in advance of having an event or turning over a property. We are not responsible for any outcomes resulting from an emergency reschedule due to the cleaner’s inability to work.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason. Some reasons include: property or condition of the home is not as described by the client, cleaning job requested not as described by the client, cleaners feeling uncomfortable with the job site, client or pets. Please keep aggressive or overly friendly pets in a safe area.
Right to Reschedule
In order to respect all clients’ schedule, if your cleaning requires much more time than discussed, we reserve the right to schedule the additional cleaning time for a different day.
Charge back Disclaimer: A credit card authorization will be placed in advance the day of the service. Krystal Clear Cleaning Agency takes credit card fraud very seriously. Make sure that you are using the correct card for any transaction and that the card belongs to you. If the credit card does not belong to you, make sure that we have the card owner’s verbal or written approval. If your home is cleaned by an Krystal Clear Cleaning referred domestic worker and you or the card owner reports to the bank that the charges were fraudulent, you will be responsible for the entire cost, commissions, and interest, which will be handled by collections.
Failure to Pay: In case of any failure to make payment, you will be notified. If the account goes to collections, You will be responsible for the entire cost, commissions, and interest, which will be handled by collections.
Move out or move in Disclaimer: We are not accountable if the tenant renting a home does not receive a deposit refund. Move outs take twice as long and cost almost double the amount of a deep clean.
Construction Clean up: Construction cleans take at least twice as long and cost almost double the amount of a deep clean. If there is any work being done during the cleaning, the registered house cleaner(s) are not accountable for the cleaning outcome.
Property access: The customer is completely responsible if customer chooses to give referred domestic workers key access to their property or hide a key. We strongly recommend that the customer use a hidden lock box. Lock box code can be provided for the domestic worker or for Krystal Clear Cleaning.
Laundry Disclosure: The customer is completely responsible if customer chooses to give the domestic worker laundry. Krystal Clear Cleaning Agency referred house cleaners are house cleaning experts only, not laundry experts.
It is prohibited for Krystal Clear Cleaning Agency referred domestic workers to make contracts with clients without paying Krystal Clear Cleaning Agency scheduled fees.
If you are ordering partial house cleaning we ask that you be reasonable with your expectations, let the referred domestic worker see your priority list, and ask them if all the items that you have listed can be accomplished within the amount of time you are expecting them to finish.
If you live in a gated community, meet the referred domestic workers at the gate. If there is more than one entrance, let us know.
Let us know if your home has not been properly treated for rodents, insects, or other vermin.
Let us know in advance if your home has been soiled by pet or human waste, if your home does not have adequate electricity or water needed for work or if you have an extreme mold condition, or any bio-hazard.
Hoarders or customers that are extremely messy and disorganized will need home organizational service at the same rate of $40 per hour or $44 per hour on weekends. We may need to provide a different specialist for your home needs.
Krystal Clear Cleaning reserves the right to refuse service while fees may apply.
Be kind when evaluating the house cleaning work because house cleaning is arduous labor and Krystal Clear Cleaning Referral Agency domestic referrals are trying their best to meet your expectations. To validate any complaints, leave a written list for the home cleaner, do an inspection with the home cleaner, and report complaints within 24 hours. If you are not happy with the cleaning outcome, we can schedule another cleaner for future appointments. Terms may change without notice.
